BHAKTAPUR, March 30: Thirteen people were injured in a vehicle accident on Thursday morning at Nalin Chowk area in SuryaBinayak Municipality-9, Bhaktapur.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus (Ba 5 Kha 8022) on its way to Sanga from Jagati was being repaired was hit from behind by a tipper (Ga 2 Kha 431) heading to the same direction. The vehicle fell about three meters off the road. Passengers on the bus that was being repaired were injured in the accident.

SP Prajit KC of District Police Office, Bhaktapur said that all the injured were brought to Bhaktapur Hospital for treatment.
It is said that both the vehicles are under the control of Jagati Police Circle. It is said that the bus driver Navaraj Khadka, 32, resident of Katari Municipality in Udayapur district is in contact with Jagati Police Circle.
However, the tipper driver is absconding and the search is underway to arrest him. The incident site is 2 kilometers east of Jagati Police Circle, Bhaktapur.
