Produced by Suraj Bansal under the banner of Movies.com, the story of the film is written by director Nembang and Prawin Adhikary. Alok, who faced allegations that his first movie Sano Sansar was heavily inspired by My Sassy Girl, a Korean movie, says that his upcoming Kohi Mero is completely original.
Nembang has fulfilled his dream of working with three of his favorite actors – Aryan Sigdel, Sanchita Luitel, and Jharana Bajracharya – in this film.
“I wanted to cast these three together. They are superb actors, and they haven’t disappointed me,” says Nembang who proudly accepts that his idea of moviemaking goes with Bollywood’s Karan Johar, and says why many take him as the Karan Johar of Nepali films.
The other players in the movie are Tripti Nadekar, and Dinesh Sharma. Nembang is introducing Subodh Thapa. Raju Bikram Thapa is the cinematographer while the music composers are Suresh Adhikary, Basanta Sapkota, and Suresh Rai.
Shot in 2K digital format, the budget of the movie is Rs 5.5 million. Kohi Mero is about four friends who go their own ways following certain philosophies and circumstances of life. Nembang says that the chemistry between these four is what makes this movie going.
