The film, starring Jharana Bajracharya and Aryan Sigdel along with Sanchita Luitel and Subash Thapa, is a love story, like most other local films that have dominated the market.[break]
The film was initially planned for an August 20 release. But it was postponed due to technical problems. The soundtracks of the movie, however, have already been released and have generated a positive response, Rajesh Banshal, the producer of the movie, said at a press meet on Monday.
With Kohi…Mero, Jharana Bajracharya, one of the leads of the romantic flick, returns to the big screens after a lengthy break of almost six years. Director Nembang described the film, “as a simple film made from the heart, taking huge risks.”

Why do you think Kohi…Mero is a must see?
Alok Nembang, director
I am proud to say that this is a very old-fashioned story dealt very simply. I’ve put my heart and soul in the making of this movie. But please don’t expect that this movie is going to bring some drastic overnight change to Nepali film industry.
Aryan Sigdel, actor
From the locations to cinematography, choreography, soundtracks, editing, characters and direction, everything is just perfect.
Jharana Bajracharya, actor
First, because the film has me (laughs). Honestly, it’s really a simple story dealt very extraordinarily and it will bring a smile on your face by the time the movie ends.
