NC panel wins in Shahidnagar of Dhanusha

JANAKPURDHAM, May 15: A Nepali Congress (NC) candidate has won the polls for Shahidnagar Municipality Ward No 1 chairmanship of Dhanusha. Tejilal Yadav, has been elected with 659 votes to the post of ward chairperson.

Yadav defeated his closest rival, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party candidate Ram Babu Yadav, by a margin of 311 votes. Ram Babu got only 348 votes.
