KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The National Democracy Day, 2078 BS was celebrated amidst special functions organized at the Nepal Army Pavilion in the capital today.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki, Speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Prasad Sapkota, ministers, and high-ranking officials were among those present on the occasion.

On the occasion, the Nepal Army helicopters carried the banner of National Democracy Day, 2078 BS showered flower petals from above. Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force also presented a march past.
The ceremony was addressed by Prime Minister Deuba.
