CHITWAN, Nov 27: Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Upendra Yadav has said that the executive should not interfere in the judiciary. 

Talking to media persons in Chitwan on Saturday, Yadav opined that the judiciary would not remain independent if the executive interfered in its affairs. 

Though the government has paid attention to breaking the deadlock seen in the judiciary, it cannot be said that the government has meddled in the affairs of the judiciary, he mentioned. 

Chairman Yadav shared, "The executive should not interfere in the judiciary”. Stating that judges and advocates should find a solution to resolve the issue of the judiciary themselves, Yadav said that the political parties should not come forward to that end. The court system should sort out the current problem emerging in the judiciary,” he added.

The judiciary itself is an institution having its own constitutional provisions for its independence from the influence of political power, he said. 

"The House sessions should be called soon and provided with business. There are several bills in the House awaiting deliberations and endorsement,” Yadav added.
