Nepal to take on Mohun Bagan, Chirag United<br/>NSC forms SAG preparation committees

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Nepali national football team is all set to play two friendly matches in Kolkata on Friday and Monday.



According to All Nepal Football Association Spokesperson Lalit Krishna Shrestha, Nepal will take on Mohun Bagan on Friday and Chirag United on Monday. Nepali team will head to Kolkata on Thursday. [break]



Nepali football team, preparing for the Sixth SAFF Championship, will leave Kolkata on December 2 for the tournament venue Dhaka, Bangladesh. Nepal will take on Maldives, India and Afghanistan in the group stage of the SAFF Championship being held in Dhaka from December 4 to 14.





NSC forms SAG preparation committees



KATHMANDU, Nov 24: National Sports Council on Tuesday formed four committees to speed up the preparations of the 11th South Asian Games.



NSC has formed inspection, technical, disciplinary action and logistics support committees to prepare well for the SAG being held in Dhaka from January 29 to February 9.



According to NSC member Min Krishna Maharjan, NSC Vice-president Pitambar Lamsal heads the technical committee while Khadga Ranabhat chairs the disciplinary action committee. Likewise, NSC´s Treasurer Amar Chandra Anil leads the logistics support committee while Maharjan heads the inspection committee.
