Say Goodbye to Stinky Clothes In Monsoon

Say Goodbye to Stinky Clothes In Monsoon

One of the worst things about monsoon is that no matter how many times you give your clothes for laundry, they never come out smelling fresh. Because of the moisture in the air, there will always be a musty smell that you cannot seem to escape. Here are a few tips to help you remove the musty smell from your clothes.

Don’t collect clothes in the machine
Hang the garments somewhere separately and not pile them up in the laundry basket or washing machine.

“We have a very few swimming clubs in Pokhara. This leads to crowded pools for want of options. Sometimes, we even have to send our customers back because the pool is too crowded.”

Add vinegar or baking soda to the detergent
Vinegar and baking soda are used to neutralize and get rid of the unpleasant smell in your garments. So, next time you put your clothes in the washing machine, add a cup of white vinegar or baking soda with a good detergent.

Soak your clothes in a good detergent
After your clothes come from the laundry, soak the clothes in a fabric softener for about 10-15 minutes. After that, just rinse with water and your clothes will smell fresh again. You can also opt for a good-smelling detergent that smells of rose or any other strong fragrance. This will not only keep your clothes from stinking but will leave them smelling great.

Store your clothes in a dry place
To keep the dampness away from your clothes, you need to add a few sticks of chalk in your wardrobe and drawers. This will not only keep your clothes from stinking but will leave them smelling great.
