KATHMANDU, June 28: The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament scheduled for today at 3:30 pm has been postponed until 5:00 pm.
The Legislature-Parliament secretariat assistant spokesperson Sudarshan Kuinkel informed that the meeting was postponed citing special reason.
The main opposition Nepali Congress has been obstructing the House demanding to provide a lump sum of Rs 200,000 to the earthquake survivors while National Reconstruction Authority has been working out to provide it in installment basis as per the agreement signed with donors in this connection.
It is noted that a taskforce comprising the ruling and opposition party leaders was formed to resume the house. The taskforce is working out to find a middle path in this connection. RSS
