Nepal Film Campus affiliated to Tribhuvan University now is offering four years course of Bachelor in Film Study since this academic year.
In a press meet held at its premises, Baneshwor, Principal Shishir Upreti informed that this course comprises of five subjects—Script Writing, Direction, Video Editing, Cinematography, Acting, and Sound Recording.
He added, “Since there are few numbers of colleges of film study in South Asia, we’ve opened the college with an aim to attract international students as well.”
According to Upreti, film experts from Hollywood, Bollywood, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal will conduct the classes on these five subjects.
Likewise, chairperson of Film Development Board Keshab Bhattrai believed that this college will boost the quality of films in Nepali film fraternity in the future.
