Nepal Latin Dance Fiesta 2019 concludes

Nepal Latin Dance Fiesta 2019 concluded at Fahrenheit club, Thamel on Sunday. The closing ceremony included the free fun classes led by Australian dancer Nestor from 7 pm to 8 pm. Moreover, it saw various dance performances by international and national artists. The event was host by former Miss Nepal/media personality Malvika Subba.

According to Yogesh Shrestha, one of the members of festival organizer, the event achieved its goal, but could not be productive regarding finance. “The event would have allured more foreigners, if a government had managed the security system throughout the late night party,” Shrestha lamented.

Around 200 people from 30 countries including America, Philippines, Thailand, China, Switzerland, and India participated in the festival. The festival began on April 4. The main objective of the festival was to promote Salsa Dance in Nepal and to take it to international level, uplifting tourism through cultural exchange.
