Natural Art Exhibition in Chitwan
CHITWAN, August 21: The ‘Natural Art Exhibition’ kicked off at Kalawati Art Council, Gaindakot on Saturday. The exhibition is being organized to mark the first anniversary of Rotary Club of Gaindakot.
Paintings created by artists from Austria, Germany, India, Bangladesh, and Nepal are being showcased at the exhibit. A total of 140 paintings by 22 artists are on display at the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Ragini Upadhyay Grela, chancellor of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.
About the painting exhibition, Ragini shared, “It is commendable that the gallery is showcasing artworks of national as well as international artists.”
The paintings at the exhibit were made at the International Art Festival organized by the council last year. The artists have centered their artworks on the theme of nature and painted realistic as well as semi realistic forms of mountains, hills, wild animals and water resources, among others.
The price range of the paintings is between Rs 6,000 and Rs 70,000. As much as 25 percent of the sales amount will be donated to RRotaryClub of Gaindakot to help the tarai flood victims, according to the
