Lemon bar recipe

Ingredients

•             Melted Butter

•             Sugar

•             Salt

•             Eggs

•             Flour (2 and half cup)

•             Vanilla Extract (2 teaspoons)

•             Lemon Juice

 

Steps to make Lemon Bars

•             Firstly prepare the crust by mixing all of the shortbread crust ingredients together and pressing them firmly into a baking pan,

•             Second step is to pre-bake the crust so that it will hold up under the lemon layer,

•             Now prepare the filling by whisking all of the filling ingredients together,

•             Now pour the filling on the warm pre-baked crust,

•             Bake for around 20 minutes or until the center is just about set,

•             Slightly increase the baking temperature to 325°F,

•             Finally, it out and cool for about 1 hour at room temperature,

•             Now place the whole pan in the refrigerator for 1-2 more hours until its chilled,

•             Lastly sprinkle some sugar on top of of the bars and your sweet and tangy lemon bars are ready!!
