Laxmi releases Teej song

Some singers of Nepali film fraternity have started celebrating one of the famous Hindu festivals ‘Teej’. Some female singers are busy in releasing their teej songs. Meanwhile Laxmi Acharya, who is releasing teej songs every year, launched a new teej song ‘Phungalera Maiti Desh’ amid a special program organized in Kathmandu. 

The folk song portrays the excitement of women during the festival and their chaos to balance their household works.

Music video of the song features Acharya herself along with several background dancers. The video is shot in a traditional environment. According to the press statement issued by the production unit, the traditional location has helped to add authenticity to the video.

Penned by Bishnu Neupane, the video is choreographed by Karan Chaisir.
