KBC Nepal to debut in-November

KBC Nepal to debut in-November

KATHMANDU, Oct 6: ‘Ko Banchha Crorepati’ has announced that it will be making its debut in Nepal through AP1 Television, this November. Rajesh Hamal has been handed the responsibilities of hosting the show.

At an event organized at Hotel Yak and Yeti, the production team unveiled Coca-Cola as their title sponsor. Apart from Coca-Cola, different major brands of the country are also associated with the show -- including Civil Bank, Baltra Home Appliances, Enchanteur (the fragrance of French romance), Hero, Indica Hair Color, Education Park and Suit That Fits. 

A number of dignitaries were present in the event, including CEO of SRDN Media -- Bipin Acharya, Managing Director of AP1 Television -- Laxmi Prasad Poudel, Mega Star -- Rajesh Hamal, Director of AP1 Television -- Suresh Poudel. Representatives from each sponsor company were also present during the event. 

Speaking at the event Laxmi Prasad Poudel said, “We are introducing different international shows to the country and we are really happy that we are getting positive responses from the audiences. We are always there to entertain the audience but we need your help and support to maintain the quality of the show.” He added, “This partnership with Coca-Cola will be fruitful for both of us.” 

Talking about the fairness of choosing participants of the show, Acharya said, “Participants are chosen on the basis of the international rule of the franchise which makes sure that people from different age groups and the geographical regions will get a chance to participate. Recently we opened registration for the participants.” 

Hamal also expressed happiness to be the part of the show. He said, “It is an honor to have this kind of international franchise show in Nepal. KBC is not just a game show; it contains the wishes, and desires of Nepali. There is a huge challenge in our way to maintain the quality and standard of the show. We are working to be prepared for the challenges and I am sure that we will be successful in maintaining the quality of the show.”
