Ayushman DS Joshi and Shilpa Maskey starrer film ‘Sano Mann’ is all set to hit the theater on Friday. The movie has been shot in Bhairahawa along with international locations such as Hong Kong and Moscow. The movie is directed by Hong Kong resident, Suyog Gurung.

Sharing the insights about the story, the movie’s lead actor Shilpa shared, “The movie is a romantic family drama where I am playing the character of Saniya. She is in love with Niran (Ayushman). And there isn’t any villain as such in the movie but the emotions that raise and fall within the characters, tend to play negative effects in their lives.”

 When asked the difference between ‘Sano Mann’ and other romantic genre movies, she added, “Even being a romantic movie there is not any external conflict like in most of the romantic movies. This is the main difference and this is a musical movie. Suyog Sotang, son of veteran singers Udaya and Manila Sotang, has worked on the music of the movie. And I am mentally ready for everything in terms of expectation from the movie.”

According to her, she has played a different role in this movie. Shilpa who is generally bubbly and an extrovert, has played the role of timid, shy and introvert Saniya which she says was a challenge for her. She said, “I learned a lot from playing the character of Saniya which is just opposite of my true self. And I realized my potential and this film has helped me in my career to be a versatile actor.”

Apart from Shilpa and Ayushman, the film features actors Gauri Malla, Bishal Pahari, Shishir Bangdel and Rashmi Bhatta.
