DHANGADHI, June 11: Chairman of the CPN Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reaffirmed on the need of a national consensus government for resolving the existing problems in the country.
Talking to journalists here today, he argued that such a government was needed for implementation of the constitution, the post-earthquake reconstruction, resolution of the Tharu and Madhes problems and taking the peace process to a conclusion.
"The national unity government would be formed under the leadership of the person on whose name the parties reach consensus. Our party is ready to lead such a government," Dahal said while responding to journalists' question.
Party chairman Dahal and other leaders have arrived here in connection with participating in the party's province number 7 gathering. RSS
