In the memory of late musician Shyamantak Vikram Ghotane, a charity organization — Nepalese Community Foundation — is organizing a musical event titled ‘Concert For Nepal Music Fund’ at Moksh, Jhamsikhel on Saturday.  The fundraising gig is presented by Tuborg.

The gig will have acts from Nepali bands such as Monkey Temple, Newaz, ASM and a guest appearance by Kaustuv Ghotane. Kaustuv is a president of Nepalese Community Foundation.

The proceeds raised from the concert will directly go toward ‘Nepal Music Fund’. The fund was established to support ethnic Nepali music through education, promotion, preservation and conservation.

About the gig, groove rock band, ASM wrote, “This Saturday at Moksh, music for a cause and a cause for music. Gonna be a great one. Show starts at 5 pm, see you there!” on their official Facebook page.

One should make the donation for the entrance to the gig. As per Nepalese Community Foundation, the donation is either Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 per person.
