Chris Evans has rejected the rumor reports of returning to Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America.

The Hollywood Reporter announced the movie details on July 9 for Captain America 4 and speculated that Evans may reprise his role as Captain America. But Evans turned it down by replying to the tweet. Chris Evans tweeted, "Sam Wilson is Captain America".Previously, various news reports  also claimed that Anthony Mackie would be returning as Sam Wilson and not his alter ego Falcon, who remained Steve Rogers’ close associate through five MCU outings. 

According to the report of Comic Book,Chris Evans said , "There's no one better to do it. I mean, he honestly does it justice," Evans told the outlet, "I'm so proud of him. I can't wait to see what they do in the future with it. But if there's any tears shed about the role, it's just for the sweet memories I had."

Anthony Mackie played Sam Wilson aka Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in the follow-up  Disney Plus series 'Falcon and the Winter Soldier', the show has established Sam Wilson(Anthony Mackie) accepting the role of Captain America.
