Veteran Nepali actor Biraj Bhatta was busy with Bhojpuri films in the past few years. His recent comeback movie ‘Jai Parshuram’ was not as successful as expected. Bhatta, an idol for few years in the industry is debuting as a director with the upcoming Nepali movie ‘Saanglo’. The film was announced on Friday, and is being made under the banner of Bhatta Films, Bhatta’s home production.

According to the press statement issued by the production team, the film will begin its shooting from May 14 and Miss Nepal Nikita Chandak will feature in the lead opposite to Bhatta. Bhatta informed that he had signed nine films while he was in Mumbai but worked for ‘Jai Parshuram’ only.  “I am working as a director, producer and actor. So I will be working harder for the film,” Bhatta expressed. He further informed that the action love story will be dubbed in Hindi and Bhojpuri as well.

Debutant actor expressed that she wasn’t intending to agree for the film, but conversation with Bhatta changed her mind. “I was thinking of learning acting at first, because Biraj has a huge stardom. But his helpful and simple nature influenced me deeply.” She added, “He described the script with such great passion, my eyes got moist.”

Apart from Bhatta and Chandak, the film also features various well known faces of Nepali film fraternity including, Prakash Shah, Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Amit Giri, Ramesh Sodari, Jayananda Lama, Bharat Shah and Durga Subedi. Produced by Tejbahadur Khadka, the film will be shot in Doti, Khaptad, and Mustang.
