Baglung witnesses first fashion show
BAGLUNG, August 29: The Brown Eyes Restro on Friday organized 'Elegance Fashion Run-way Show’ in Baglung. The locals enjoyed the show to the fullest as it was the first of its kind in Baglung.
On the occasion, singer Avinash Ghising performed some of his most popular songs to entertain. He started the performance with ‘Sunko Bala’ from his 'Zero Kilometer' album. While singing, Avinash also explained that the song was still relevant because many Nepali youths have been languishing in Gulf countries in search of a stable financial status.
Similarly, local artists 'The Rising Dance Group' showcased a dance performance, while DJ Sishir made the audience groove to his music during the DJ session. Models Hissi Sherpa, Kiran Deuja, Kusum Deuja, Ruth Giri, Sabbu Shrestha and Shristi Sunuwar walked the ramp donned in traditional as well as western attires designed by Kumar Bir Bikaram Khadka.
During the DJ-session, DJ Shishir played his upbeat music to create a new liveliness in the event, and helped everybody groove with the music.
"The fashion show is a new experience for the people in Baglung so they are all pumped up,” said DJ Sishir. The director of Brown Eyes Restro Banquet, Suvaas Shrestha, said the main motive of the event was to entertain the people in a unique way. "The program proved that people can have fun with their families outside their houses too. We are also trying to address the aspirations of today's youths toward fashion through the show," he said.
