4 tips to work smarter

4 tips to work smarter

A lot of us want to be labelled as the smart colleague or the smart friend in our circle. But it requires equally as much effort and some of our bad habits tend to keep us away from the title. However, don’t worry as here we have brought few tips to help you work smarter;

Plan Regularly

Every night, make a to-do list of all your unfinished assignments and works. While reviewing, prioritize and decide how much time you need to get each activity done. I possible note your plans in a planner that allows you to plan for an entire week at a time.

Prioritize

Go thoroughly through the plans you have set and evaluate which one is more important. Once you’ve identified it, try to give your time and energy in that direction. Learn to say no to nonessential demands. And don’t waste time perfecting every interoffice memo when you could spend the time more profitably on something else.

Work Creatively

A creative approach or a simple creative touch i your work can make a lot of difference on how people evaluate your work. Everyone has the potential to be creative so try to leverage this in the best way possible. You don’t have to come up with a fancy idea, a simple but a different and unique one works quite well.

Set Deadlines for Major and important work

Setting deadlines for major and important work will help you focus on starting to work on them. Instead of procrastinating, divide large projects into manageable pieces and attack only one piece at a time.
