21st Tuborg Image Award nominations announced

21st Tuborg Image Award nominations announced

The nominations for the ‘21st Tuborg Image Award’ have been announced in a special event organized in Solatee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu on Sunday.

All the shortlisted nominees were conferred with certificates by representatives of Image Channel.  According to a press statement issued by Image channel, the annual award ceremony has altogether 110 nominees in 22 different categories.  This year, five categories of Nepali film fraternity are also added in the award ceremony.

The press statement further stated that jury in respective fields choose the winners in all the categories except in the ‘Public Choice Award’ which will be awarded on the basis of SMS and online voting.

Meanwhile, the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ will be presented to legendary singer Om Bikram Bista for his contribution to Nepali music. 

The final award ceremony will be held in Soaltee Crown Plaza on September 24.
