This beauty guru is also known as a human chameleon for her videos that show her transforming into various celebrities with the help of her makeup techniques. Mad Hatter, Angelina Jolie, Drake, Kate Middleton, you name it and Promise has made herself look like one in her videos. To top it off, she’s a Nepali, her original name being Pratigya Tamang. Michelle Phan, another Vietnamese-American Youtube beauty guru is her sister-in-law.
Promise’s popularity grew when she started posting her transformation videos in her Youtube channel. She has transformed to more than two dozen celebrities. Her makeup skills, which she claims to be naturally acquired through years of practice without any formal training, have the ability to leave you in disbelief when you watch her video for the first time.
She also has tutorials regarding celebrity-inspired makeup for specific occasions and different types of eyeliner shapes, among others. Her tutorials are now featured in Michelle Phan’s beauty network FAWN and MyGlam. The sister duo have their separate videos that have simple ways of styling your bangs in five different ways, blow-drying for volume, which are important for any fashion enthusiasts but can go haywire if they don’t know the correct ways.
