BIRATNAGAR, Nov 15: Cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) attacked UML leader Rishikesh Pokhrel at Jhurkiya of Morang district on Sunday afternoon. Pokhrel came under attack while returning from a function held to exchange greetings at Jhurkiya VDC.

Two UML cadres sustained minor injuries in the attack, informed Morang UML chairperson Mahesh Regmi.
"A group of 40 UDMF cadres attacked us and vandalized the vehicle with registration number Ba 13 Cha 3140," UML leader Pokhrel said. Meanwhile, Morang chapter of the UML has condemned the attack and demanded action against those involved in the incident.
