Party Chief Secretary Ganeshman Pun said the decision comes following an agreement among the party’s top leadership. Leaders who have previously been elected to the House of Representatives (HoR)—either directly or via proportional representation—or who have served as National Assembly members will not be included in the PR candidate list.

The deadline for submitting the finalized PR list is Monday afternoon, ahead of the HoR polls scheduled for March 5. The Election Commission has instructed all parties to submit their closed PR lists by Sunday and Monday, covering the 110 seats allocated under the proportional system.
