Two Indian pilgrims die in tractor accident

KAWASOTI, Feb 8: Two Indian pilgrims, who had arrived to take holy dips in Trivenidham on the occasion of Maghe Aunsi in Nawalparasi district, died in a tractor accident this morning. Ten passengers were injured in the incident.

Police Inspector Subhash Ghaire said that Karmaoli Devi Gupta, 60, and Ramesh Gupta, 17, of Uttar Pradesh of India died while receiving treatment in Prithvichandra Hospital, Parasi.


The tractor with Indian number plate arriving from Nechrun of Simara in Uttar Pradesh had met with the accident at Suryapur VDC in Nawalparasi.

Meanwhile, a youth, who was found lying in an unconscious state at Kudiya-6 in the district, died while receiving treatment at the same hospital, Police Inspector Ghaire said. RSS
