According to the police, a twine bomb and a socket bomb were discovered during reconstruction of an old house. It was suspected that the then Maoists might have planted the bombs. A copy of the old Janadesh newspaper (Chaitra 2, 2061 BS) was also found along with the bomb, which prompted the police to suspect that it was planted during the armed conflict, said the District Police Office, Humla.

According to the Thehe Police Post, the bombs and a newspaper covered with a plastic were found between the walls of two houses of Rawal and Bhandari of Thehe. A NA team headed by Kedar Thapa disposed bombs on Sunday.
