KATHMANDU, April 16: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 136.94, and the selling rate is Rs 137.54, marking a depreciation. On Tuesday, the buying rate of one US dollar stood at Rs 137.37, while the selling rate was Rs 137.97.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro is Rs 155.06 and the selling rate is Rs 155.74. The buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling, on the other hand, is Rs 181.12 and the selling rate is Rs 181.91. The buying rate of one Swiss Franc is Rs 167.67 with the selling rate set at Rs 168.41.
The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is Rs 87.09 and the selling rate is Rs 87.47. The buying rate of one Canadian Dollar is Rs 98.73 and the selling rate is Rs 99.16. The buying rate of one Singapore Dollar is Rs 103.98 and the selling rate is Rs 104.43.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is Rs 9.57 and the selling rate is Rs 9.61. The buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is Rs 18.72 and the selling rate is Rs 18.80. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is Rs 36.49 and the selling rate is Rs 36.65. The buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is Rs 37.57 with the selling rate at Rs 37.73.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai Baht is Rs 4.08 and the selling rate is Rs 4.10. Similarly, the buying rate of one UAE Dirham is Rs 37.28 and the selling rate is Rs 37.45 while the buying rate of one Malaysian Ringgit is Rs 31.03 and the selling rate is Rs 31.17. The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is Rs 9.60 with the selling rate is set at Rs 9.64.
The buying rate of one Swedish Krona is Rs 14.01 and the selling rate is Rs 14.08. Similarly, the buying rate of one Danish Krone is Rs 20.77 and the selling rate is Rs 20.86. The buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar is Rs 17.65 and the selling rate is Rs 17.73. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti Dinar is Rs 446.36 and the selling rate is Rs 448.32. The buying rate of one Bahraini Dinar is Rs 363.29 and the selling rate is Rs 364.88. The buying rate of one Omani Riyal is Rs 355.69 with the selling rate at Rs 357.25.
The buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
NRB has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time if needed. It has also noted that the exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may differ and that the updated rates are available on the central bank's official website.
