US Dollar rate decreases

Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 136.08 and the selling rate at Rs 136.68, marking a decrease from yesterday’s rate. On Friday, the buying rate for one US dollar was set at Rs 136.40, while the selling rate was Rs 137.

KATHMANDU, April 5: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 136.08 and the selling rate at Rs 136.68, marking a decrease from yesterday’s rate. On Friday, the buying rate for one US dollar was set at Rs 136.40, while the selling rate was Rs 137.


The euro is being traded at Rs 150.39 for buying and Rs 151.05 for selling. Similarly, one British pound sterling is priced at Rs 176.84 for buying and Rs 177.62 for selling. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 160.24 for buying and Rs 160.94 for selling.


The bank has set the buying rate for one Australian dollar at Rs 82.52 and the selling rate at Rs 82.88. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 95.79 and sold at Rs 96.22, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 101.47 for buying and Rs 101.91 for selling.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.39, and the selling rate is Rs 9.43. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 18.69 and sold at Rs 18.77. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 36.26 for buying and Rs 36.42 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 37.33 for buying and Rs 37.50 for selling.


According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs 3.98 and sold at Rs 4.00. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 37.05 for buying and Rs 37.21 for selling. One Malaysian ringgit is exchanged at Rs 30.67 for buying and Rs 30.80 for selling. The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.39 for buying and Rs 9.43 for selling. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 13.69 (buying) and Rs 13.75 (selling), while the Danish krone is being traded at Rs 20.15 (buying) and Rs 20.24 (selling).


The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 17.51 ​​and sold at Rs 17.59. One Kuwaiti dinar is exchanged at Rs 442.51 for buying and Rs 444.46 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 360.99 (buying) and Rs 362.58 (selling), and the Omani riyal at Rs 353.49 (buying) and Rs 355.05 (selling). The exchange rate for INR 100 is set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.


The central bank has stated that it may revise the exchange rates at any time as necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may set slightly different rates, and the most updated information is available on the central bank's official website.
