Thailand set 107-run target against Nepal

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Thailand has set a target of 107 runs for Nepal in the ongoing match of Triangular Women's International T20 Series at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.


Thailand, which won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 106 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

From Thailand’s side, Chanida Sutthiruang scored an unbeaten 27 runs and Thipatcha Putthawong scored 25. Likewise, Nannapat Koncharoenkai scored 19.


For Nepal, Manisha Upadhyay took 3 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs. Puja Mahato and Rachana Chaudhary took 1 wicket each. Rachana took her first wicket in T20Is for Nepal.


Nepal was defeated in all the last three matches. For this reason, it is under pressure to win this match to keep their chances alive in the series.
