Three Nepalis returning home from Kumbh Mela killed in road accident

The Indian vehicle with registration number UP 53 FD 4288 crashed into a divider and went out of control, according to the District Police Office, Rupandehi.

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Three Nepalis died while four were injured after the vehicle they had boarded to return from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj crashed into a divider, went out of control and veered off the road. 


The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Khanal, 45, a resident of Devdaha Municipality-9, his wife Deepa Khanal, 35, and Ganga Sharma, 40, according to the police.

The Indian vehicle with registration number UP 53 FD 4288 crashed into a divider and went out of control, according to the District Police Office, Rupandehi.


The police said they are in the process of gathering information about the accident that took place in India.


More details are yet to be released.
