KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Devotee reached Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu to prayers during the festival of Bala Chataurdashi on Thursday. They also scattered satbij in memory of family members who have passed away.
It is believed that by spreading the satbij during Bala Chaturdashi people can secure a better place for their dead relatives in heaven. It also helps the souls of the dead who were not properly burnt rest in peace.
