Smoke is still visible rising from the fire-affected area. At the moment, only empty trucks are crossing from this side, but no goods are coming in, the office said.

However, the Chinese side has informed that goods shipment will resume from Sunday.

According to the office, goods loaded in more than 400 containers have been stranded on the Chinese side for a long time. While some containers have already entered Nepal, many are still stuck across the border.

In recent times, more than 10 containers of goods were being imported daily through the Tatopani border point. Items such as apples, garlic, raisins and walnuts are commonly imported via this route.
