"Though many Nepali like Swiss watches, they think Swiss watches are unaffordable. To change this perception, we have started selling two Swiss brands targeting the middle class people in the capital," said Sahukhala, managing director of Greenwich Time Zone. "We will add other Swiss brands in the future."

Sanjib Shahi, proprietor of Greenwich Time Zone, said the showroom has various models of Claude Bernard and Jacques du Manoir watches priced in the range of Rs 14,500 to Rs 50,000. Shahi said they have invested Rs 4 million to open the showroom.

Both Sahukhala and Shahi are hopeful that the showroom would attract middle class Nepalis into buying Swiss watches.
