KATHMANDU, June 7: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has recommended senior advocate Ram Prasad Situala for the vacant post of member at the Judicial Council (JC).
Prime minister picked Situala after the tenure of JC member Khem Narayan Dhungana expired on June 1.

Legal Advisor of President Lalit Basnet said the PM’s office has recommend Situala for his appointed by the president.
As per the legal provision, prime minister and Nepal Bar Association (NBA) recommend a member for the council.
