KATHMANDU, May 1: Riding on a brilliant century from Dipendra Singh Airee, Nepal posted a 290-run target for the United Arab Emirates in the ongoing ICC World Cup League-2 on Friday.
Playing at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first. The home side scored 289 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Dipendra top-scored for Nepal with 100 runs off 94 balls, hitting 13 fours and one six during his innings.
Similarly, Nepal opener Binod Bhandari contributed 56 runs, including seven boundaries. Arjun Kumal, who made his One Day International debut for the national team, was dismissed for 11 runs, while captain Rohit Kumar Paudel scored 39.
