KANCHANPUR, May 20: General Secretary of the Nepali Congress and former Home Minister, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, has said that the government should declare the date for election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) after issuing bills related to election soon.

Talking briefly to media persons at Nepali Congress party office in Kanchanpur today, he said suspicions should be removed by issuing the election laws as suspicion has been surfaced whether or not the election will be held.

He said it was necessary to forward process related to election soon as the rationale of the incumbent government will be ended if the CA election was not held by mid-December.

The NC General Secretary said that the CPN-Maoist, which has launched agitation on various pretexts, would not be able to escape from the election.

Sitaula mentioned that NC would give an outlet to the country by bringing majority in the coming CA election as it had given outlet to the country in different difficult conditions.
