BARA, Nov 22: The local administration in Bara district and the Gen Z representatives have agreed to carry out a fair investigation into the Simara incident. The two sides even reached a three-point deal during a talk held at the Technical Training Institute of the Armed Police Forces at Pathlaiya, Bara, on Friday.
Chief District Officer in Bara, Dharmendra Kumar Mishra, informed that both sides decided to ensure safety to Gen Zers, extend coordination for treatment for those injured in the Simara skirmish and conduct a fair probe.

The Gen Zers, including Sudan Gurung, Purushottam Yadav, and Samrat Upadhay and the Mayor of Simara Sub-Metropolis, Rajan Paudel, were from the Gen Z side while the CDO and chiefs of the district security offices were in the dialogue.
Simara had turned tense on Wednesday with the clash between the UML cadres and Gen Z youths. "Three persons have been taken under control based on Gen Zers' complaint," CDO Mishra said.
Bara district remained tense for two days after the clash, prompting the local authority to impose curfews on Wednesday and Thursday.
Gen Zers had claimed that CPN UML cadres beat up some Gen Z youths, which led to further protests.
