KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Sainik Awasiya Mahavidhyalaya (SAM) and Occidental Public School recorded wins in the Ninth CoAS Inter-school Running Cricket Tournament for 20-over preside at the Army Ground in Bhaktapur on Monday.
Sainik beat Laboratory HS by nine wickets, while Occidental recorded two-wicket win against GEMS. Opting to bat first, Laboratory collected only 32 runs in 15.4 overs with Irshad Ansari topscoring 10 runs.

Praful Shrestha bagged highest five wickets for Sainik to restrict the opponent on low score. In reply, Sainik completed the run chase in five overs losing a wicket.
Similarly, batting first GEMS bagged 94 runs in 15.5 overs with Gaurav Dhakal scoring 30 runs. Bigyan Gautam claimed four wickets for Occidental, which later chased the target in 19 overs losing two wickets with Parash Pujara contributing 25 runs and Bigyan Gautam adding 24 runs.
