The workshop, developed from the standards of the Association of Art Administration Educators, will focus on marketing strategies, leadership skills development, financial management, strategic planning, and audience development. It will help managers who are already involved in theaters, museums, and art galleries. This is designed especially for those who work in 'businesses where creativity and artistry play a central role in the day-to-day operation.'Applicants will be screened through a competitive application process and interviews. Along with the scholarship, the chosen 12 will also benefit from work placements and grants for their personal projects.
They will be trained by researchers and business experts from Biruwa Ventures on management skills. Additional trainers are experts from South Asia and other countries who will focus their workshops on linking management practices to the creative arts.
