KATHMANDU, June 16: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmakers shouted slogans in parliament on Monday as Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel began responding to questions raised by MPs during the ongoing discussion on the annual revenue and expenditure estimates for the fiscal year 2025/26.

As Minister Paudel stood at the podium, RSP members chanted slogans like “People are not for sale”, “Home Minister must resign”, “Take action against human trafficker” and “Our protest will continue”. The party has been obstructing parliamentary proceedings since May 27, demanding a high-level probe committee into the recent visit visa controversy.
