BIRATNAGAR, June 7: Bharat Kandel has been elected chairperson of the Morang district committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) through the party’s first district convention.
The convention also elected Bimala Basnet as vice-chairperson, Diwas Nepal as secretary, and Sirjana Giri Acharya as joint secretary.

Among those elected as district committee members were Yubaraj Basnet and Bhawana Ojha, along with other representatives.
The newly elected leadership will lead the party’s organizational activities in Morang following the conclusion of the district convention.
