Rice terraces

Hani rice terraces in Yuanyang County, Honghe Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province. Hani Terraces, particularly created by Chinese Hani ethnic group, is an absolute wonder of farming civilization with a long history of more than 1,300 years. The UNESCO's World Heritage Committee inscribed cultural landscape of Honghe Hani Rice Terraces onto the prestigious World Heritage List in 2013. (Xinhua/RSS)
