KATHMANDU, May 13: Suman Malla, the Mugu district correspondent for Republica, passed away on Wednesday evening. He was 41.

Malla, who had been engaged in play writing and theatre performance, was suffering from diabetes and asthma. He has written and acted in popular plays including ‘Karnali Dakkhin Bagdo Chha’ and ‘Suina Karnalika’.
Malla is survived by his mother, spouse, a son and two daughters.
