Gold price drops, silver hits record

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Gold prices in Nepal saw a slight decline on Monday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold was traded at Rs 270,000 per tola.

On Sunday, gold had been traded at Rs 270,600 per tola, marking a drop of Rs 600.


Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs 60 to Rs 4,895 per tola, up from Rs 4,835 previously, setting a new all-time high in the domestic market.
