The deceased has been identified as Shanti Devi Yadav of Garuda Municipality-2.
As many as 11 people had been injured in the cooking gas cylinder explosion on Tuesday. Among them Sah and Parikshan Raya Yadav had been critically injured in the incident.
Critically injured Sah had been whisked to Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment after preliminary treatment at Garuda-based hospital.
When her condition got worse Sah was being taken to Kathmandu on the recommendation of Bharatpur Hospital. Sah breathed her last while being rushed to Kathmandu, said DSP Rajendra Pokharel.
Another critically injured Yadav is undergoing treatment at Birgunj hospital. Other nine people, whose condition is said to be normal, are receiving treatment at local Health Land Hospital, said police.
