Khawas had appeared in written examination for Second Lieutenant of Nepal Army and had passed in the result published on Wednesday.
"Army has also asked me to contact on July 1. Thus I have not decided what to do," said Khawas who was also the skipper of the U-22 national team. Khawas need to compete along with two Australian and a Korean player to confirm his place at Pune FC.
Khawas, the influential striker has signed a conditional deal with Mega Three Star Club for new season that he shall leave the club if he passes army examination or get a call from the foreigner team.
Last season, Pune FC had finished fifth in I-League.
