KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Proton, the global electric vehicle brand rapidly gaining popularity in Nepal, has launched a new initiative aimed at empowering Nepali entrepreneurs. Titled “Dream a Dream”, the campaign seeks to fuel innovation and sustainability by supporting bold new ideas from aspiring changemakers across the country, the company said in a press release.
The campaign invites all Nepali citizens to pitch entrepreneurial ideas, with three winners receiving up to Rs 500,000 each in funding. In addition, the selected winners will be mentored and groomed for the next season of Shark Tank Nepal, offering them a springboard to scale their ventures, the press release stated.
“Through ‘Dream a Dream,’ we want to give back to the society that has embraced us by investing in dreams that could shape Nepal’s future,” said Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, Proton’s authorized distributor in Nepal.

The competition is open until October 31, 2025, and entries can be submitted via QR code featured on Proton’s official communications. Winners will be announced in November 2025, followed by a dedicated mentorship journey.
