POKHARA, July 28: Proton Nepal has officially opened the doors to its latest showroom in the scenic city of Pokhara, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s mission to accelerate electric mobility across the country. The new showroom, located at Buddha Chowk, offers customers a first-hand experience of Proton’s flagship electric vehicle — the Proton e.MAS7.

Following its successful launch in Kathmandu, the Pokhara showroom is part of Proton’s broader vision to establish a nationwide electric vehicle (EV) network by 2025. As part of the expansion, Proton is also offering test drive registrations, personalized consultations, and access to easy financing and government subsidy options for potential buyers.

To further enhance after-sales support, Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of Proton in Nepal, has also broken ground on a third service center within Pokhara to ensure customers receive world-class service and care.

The showroom opening was conducted by Chief Guest Krishna Shrestha (President, Western Automobiles Dealers Association), and the event was graced by dignitaries such as the executive committee of WADA, the executive committee of FNCCI, executives of the Hotel Association Nepal – Pokhara Chapter, NYEF, and members of the media, who expressed their interest in the Proton e.MAS7.

Following the successful showroom opening, the evening launch featured the new e.MAS7, with attendance from high-profile dignitaries, media, and local automotive enthusiasts. Guests experienced a detailed product presentation showcasing the key innovations of the Proton e.MAS7 — including its smart technology, range capabilities, and commitment to sustainable transport.

“We’re proud to bring Proton to Pokhara — a city that embodies both natural beauty and a forward-looking mindset,” said Mr. Akhil Gupta, Executive Director of Jagdamba Motors, Proton Nepal. “With this expansion, we aim to make clean and smart mobility more accessible to individuals and families across the western region. This is just the beginning.”

With Nepal rapidly moving toward electric transportation and environmental consciousness, Proton’s expansion into Pokhara reaffirms its position as a leader in the country’s clean energy revolution.

To further add to the celebrations, Jagdamba Motors has announced a 0% interest rate offer for Proton customers in Pokhara for the opening week. It stands to reason that Proton is here to stay and will soon dominate the 4W automobile industry.
